yes of course the name of a domain plays an important role for the success of a site because a simple and easy name can be memorized by the visitors. On the other hand, if the name is difficult , how could they return back easily.

As the thing is that I want to say you that your domain search results are not shared with the 3-rd parties. There is also some of the sites that keep the history of your recent favourite domain search and domain pnovum so that you can easily follow all the important search results.

If you get a domain name that describes your company's business or name, people can remember the name easily and can return to your site without having to consult their documents. In fact, if you get a good name that describes your product or service, you might even get people who were trying their luck by typing "www.yourproductname.com" in their browser.

you are right nitin.... Domain name plays an important role and while choosing a domain name you should avoid hyphens as in my opinion they are difficult to remember by the visitors new to site... The Domain name should be simple, short and easy to remember...

Domain names are used to identify one or more IP addresses.Having decided on your domain name, you again charge to analysis whether it is accessible or whether it has been registered already by addition user. This is done by application the WHOIS service, an online seek ability that provides data of area name registrations in a amount of seconds.

A domain name is an identification label that defines a realm of administrative autonomy, authority, or control in the Internet. Domain names are hostnames that identify Internet Protocol (IP) resources such as web sites. Domain names are formed by the rules and procedures of the Domain Name System (DNS).

Domain names are used in various networking contexts and application-specific naming and addressing purposes. They are organized in subordinate levels (subdomains) of the DNS root domain, which is nameless. The first-level set of domain names are the top-level domains (TLDs), including the generic top-level domains (gTLDs), such as the prominent domains com, net and org, and the country code top-level domains (ccTLDs). Below these top-level domains in the DNS hierarchy are the second-level and third-level domain names that are typically open for reservation by end-users that wish to connect local area networks to the Internet, create other publicly accessible Internet resources or run web sites. The registration of these domain names is usually administered by domain name registrars who sell their services to the public.
