Have you tried searching the web? There are download sites I have seen giving flash tutorials, however I have not tried them so I am not pretty sure if they would be giving them for free. Hope you can get soon!

I learned flash application very easily from the youtube site. Now a days it is very easy to learn from web as well as it is important that how to start work on flash. Because without tutorial it is very hard to start. I downloaded some of the books from adobe collection.

I use paint shop pro, so I'm not really sure where all the ps tuts are but you could try googling 'photoshop tutorials' or 'photoshop siggy tutorials' or something like that. I just done a search and found these for you.

If your willing to pay a little, lynda.com has great tutorial videos including coding examples. You can always pay for a month and then cancel if you can learn that fast. Otherwise, there are some actionscript for dummies books out there...possibly at your local library.
