The Project Report

The project report is an extremely important aspect of the project. It serves to show what you have done and must demonstrate that:
• Understand the wider context of computing by relating the choice of your project, and the approach you take towards existing products or research.
• You can apply the theoretical and practical techniques are taught, of course, the problem you are facing, and understand their importance among the computing world.
• You are able objectively to judge your work, and constructive suggestions for improvement or further work based on the experiences so far.
• As a professional you are able to explain your thinking and work processes in a clear and concise manner to a third party that can not be experts in the field where you work.
Most project evaluators have not followed the project over and have little time to hear a presentation or demonstration. For this reason, that depend heavily on the report for the project. Also, if the end of their overall degree mark to establish a boundary between two grade ratings, the final result can be significantly influenced by the quality of your project.
