Thread: Creating individual user logins

    Default Creating individual user logins

I want to create a website with individual log-ins.

To be more specific, I want to create a list of collectables, and then allow people to create their own checklists of what they have and don't have. To do this, they would, of course, have to log in. But I need to be able to edit the main list (like add an item, or change an item description) and have that edit apply to all of the pages.

I hope this makes sense. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks so much!!

Log into your admin section of your joomla website. Then select User Accounts option, then select the user account you want to change permissions on. Then choose the groups you want that user to be part of.

Now that you have users put into specific groups. You can create new pages and on every new page you create it gives you the option to allow groups access. Just add the groups you want to have access to a specific page / or section.
