Building a list of facebook clients without spamming

How do i contact my friends in facebook without spamming them? I want to build the list of potential customers but the only way i can do this is without spamming. Please, is there anyway i can do this?

You can send them message, I don't think messages with good content is spamming.

Don't let it to seem like advertising or sponsors, but try to be as normal and real while messaging them. Give some time don't do similar things again and again, and with the same friends.
