Writing dBase IV Files

Hello All,

I'm wanting to create a program where I can alter a dBase IV (.dbf) file. I have a program that runs off of .dbf files, and I would like to include an independent program that would make updating the .dbf files easier. This program would be included in an install program in the same directory as the .dbf files.

Any help would be appreciated. It appears that most information on .dbf files is a bit outdated, and all I can find is questions with no answers.
