Making Links for Blogs

I would like to appreciate the discussions carried out here and how it has helped many fellow members like me who want to learn something every now and then. I launched a blog recently and want to create links for my blog but don’t have any kind of rough idea about it. According to you all, what are the steps which should be considered while working on blog links creation? How much time does it take to create links and use them for blogs? Promoting my blog is another aim and would like to know about ways to use those links for my blog. Do share your experiences.
